Apr. 17--The words of Oklahomans struggling with high natural gas bills were released Monday by state regulators trying to determine whether gas customers were charged more than the law allows.
The comments were excerpts from 12 letters received by the Oklahoma Corporation Commission as gas prices rose during the winter.
Ernest Johnson, director of the agency's public utility division, said the comments from Oklahomans struggling with high gas bills "best illustrate the reason" the agency's staff is requesting sales records from Oklahoma Natural Gas affiliates.
