When Trace Armstrong trudged off the Network Associates Coliseum field in January, the first thought on his mind wasn't to switch sides.

But two months later, he did exactly that.

Armstrong didn't decide to join the Raiders immediately after his Miami Dolphins were bludgeoned 27-0 in an AFC divisional playoff game. But after spending another game observing Jon Gruden and Co. at work, he was sold.
