AUSTIN, Texas _ The manager of a popular Austin restaurant called 911 late Tuesday to report that President Bush's 19-year-old twin daughters were attempting to purchase alcohol, Austin police said Wednesday.

No citations were issued to Barbara and Jenna Bush in connection with the incident about 10:20 p.m. at Chuy's, one of a string of trendy nightspots just south of downtown Austin. According to a police statement, the matter will be investigated by local authorities and by the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission because people younger than 21 are forbidden to purchase alcohol.
