WINNIPEG, MAN. -- Canadian National Railway (CN) announced that it is consolidating its U.S. and Canadian commodities operations into a single business unit.
Ross Goldsworthy, currently vice president of Canadian grain and fertilizers, was promoted to the new position of vice president of bulk commodities.
Jim Foote, CN's executive vice president of sales and marketing, said the formation of single bulk commodities business unit "is another step in the evolution of our sales and marketing organization. It recognizes that many of our bulk customers have operations, or serve markets, on both sides of the Canada/U.S. border and offshore."
