Jul. 20--Brunswick County supervisors voted 5-0 Wednesday to approve a permit for a proposed power plant near the Ante community but only after rescinding an earlier vote to delay the permit until July 31.
Kinder Morgan Power Co. of Houston proposed building the $300 million natural-gas-fired power plant in southeastern Brunswick County.
