Aug. 1--Dynasty Ceramic said that, of the 136m bt raised in the capital increase as approved by shareholders on Oct 27 last year, 107.5m bt was used to buy 21.5m shares (96.8 percent ) of Tile Top Industry Plc. In addition, 28.5m bt was used to buy machinery for capacity expansion. As of mid-June, its production capacity had increased by 67 percent to 750,000 sq m per month.

-- Electricity Generating said the 20.1m bt received from the subscription of ordinary shares offered to employees on March 12 was invested in five firms: Thai LNG Power Corp Ltd, TLP Cogeneration Co, Nam Thuen 2 Hydroelectric Project, Gulf Electric Plc, and Eastern Water Resources Development and Management Public Co. The investments were in line with the company's increased capital utilisation plan.

Unational Fertiliser said shareholders on July 30 approved the signing with the Petroleum Authority of Thailand of a loan agreement, a pledge of fertiliser stock and an agreement to assign payment from fertiliser sales.

-- Quality Houses said its board on July 17 appointed Rutt Phanijphand as president, succeeding Joompol Meesook, effective Aug 1. Mr Joompol remains a director, while Mr Rutt has resigned from the audit committee.
