Denver Litigator, Brewer Enters Restaurant Business.

Jul. 31--Steve Long, a commercial litigator by trade, has done pretty well moonlighting as a brewer. And after four years building Jarre Creek Ranch Brewing Co., he's venturing into the restaurant business.

Jarre Creek Ranch, with a panoramic view of the Rockies, opens Thursday just west of Interstate 25 and south of the Castle Rock outlet mall.

"The plan from day one was to develop Jarre Creek into a brewpub," Long said. "We used the manufacturing and wholesale business to become known in our own backyard."
