Jul. 27--Advanced Info Service and Digital Phone Co may have to review their network investment plan after the recent announcement of the takeover of DPC from Telekom Malaysia, the former major shareholder, by Shin Corporation.
AIS president Somprasong Boonyachai said the network expansion of AIS and its sister company DPC, might be reviewed to save costs.
AIS and DPC had announced earlier that they would invest 12 billion and 11 billion baht respectively in network expansion this year.
But Mr Somprasong said the review would have to be carefully considered after the shareholders voted to share the networks.
