Aug. 22--ARLINGTON, Texas--Siemens, a global electronics giant, has reorganized its Arlington division, which produces automated mail sorting and handling systems, and appointed a new chief executive.

Heribert Stumpf, a veteran of 19 years with various Siemens divisions, recently took over as president and chief executive officer of the Arlington unit, now known as Siemens Dematic Postal Automation.

The changes came about as part of Siemens' recent acquisition of Mannesmann Dematic, a move that bolsters the company's ability to offer complete automated mail handling systems to the U.S. Postal Service and its counterparts in Canada and…
