If this record doesn't make Alison Krauss and Union Station big stars, it ain't gonna happen.
There's enough bluegrass to keep the faith among Krauss' traditional fan base. She has carried over enough poppish country from her solo "Forget About It" disc that she's making inroads on country radio. And the instrumental musicianship and byplay set a high standard.
Now it's up to the people _ like me _ complaining about the sad state of today's country music to put their money where their whining is.
