Aug. 23--Some Dallas council members choked Wednesday on naming the Latino Cultural Center's performance hall for a tequila, so the council delayed its decision on whether to accept $1 million from Jose Cuervo's parent company.
The council deferred the issue for three weeks, during which city leaders will discuss with Guinness United Distillers & Vintners North America Inc. ways to make the proposal more palatable.
