Aug. 24--Less than two years after leaving the Lower Colorado River Authority to head Public Strategies Inc., Mark Rose has left the Austin-based corporate strategy and consulting firm.
The company confirmed that Rose abruptly resigned as chief executive of Public Strategies on Thursday but offered no explanation about the circumstances or who would take the helm.
Jack Martin, the Public Strategies founder who brought Rose on board in January 2000 to take over day-to-day management of the operation, notified employees with a two-line statement that raised more questions than it answered.
