Sep. 5--A Sun Prairie bakery is facing its second union organizing election this summer after the results of an earlier vote were tossed out.
About 90 employees of Pan-O-Gold Baking Co., which sells bread and other baked goods in Wisconsin under the Village Hearth and Lakeland brand names, will vote Thursday on whether to join either the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 695 or the Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers International Union Local 205.
A majority of Pan-O-Gold employees voted June 28 to not join either union, National Labor Relations Board spokesman Irv Gottschalk said.
