Sep. 1--Bangkok First Investment reported an audited net profit of 10.1m bt for Q2, vs net profit of 9.6m bt for Q2 2000. 6M net profit was 26.08m bt, vs net profit of 15.8m bt for H1 2000.

-- Charoen Pokphand Foods has registered its amortising debentures with the Thai Bond Dealing Centre yesterday under the symbol CPF063A.

-- Datamat said its capital reduction was registered on Aug 29 with the Commerce Ministry, in line with a resolution adopted by shareholders in April 1999. Registered capital is now 134.1m bt.

-- Grammy Entertainment said Visit Tantisunthorn had resigned as a director, effective Aug 15, as he had been appointed to head the Government Pension Fund.

-- Krungdhep Sophon said its board on Aug 10 approved the guarantee of a B55m loan to a subsidiary, Krungdhep Document Co, from Bangkok Bank. The funds will be used to build a second document warehouse in Chachoengsao.

-- Minor Food Group said Royal Garden Resort had made a final tender offer with no change to the information already provided. As of Aug 29, 12,531 shares or 0.4 percent shad been tendered.

Unew Imperial Hotel said that on Aug 21, it obtained an eight-year loan totalling 1.5 bn bt: 600m bt from Siam Commercial Bank, 630m bt from Ekachart Finance and 270m bt from Siam Industrial Credit, to refinance ...
