Thai Film Production House Targets Chinese Market.

Sep. 3--Kantana Group Co, Thailand's largest post-production house, plans to set up a representative office in Shanghai this year to attract business from Chinese film makers and advertising producers.
Under its plan, the firm will offer the services of its two subsidiaries, Kantana Animation Co and Oriental Post Co.
Oriental Post is a 50:50 joint-venture between Kantana Animation and Loxley Video Post Co.
The integrated post-production services in Shanghai include film processing and printing, colour grading, negative cutting, optical effects, overlay of subtitles, duplicating and optical sound transfer.
Bobbie Wong, of Hong Kong, the president of Oriental Post, will spearhead the team in China by using its strong connections with local people to win clients.
Exsun Binhasun, the president of Kantana Group, said China offered good potential as it was the fastest-growing market in Asia.
