Sep. 17--Intel director Jane Shaw earned more than $10.5 million in July from the sale of stock in the Santa Clara chip maker.

Shaw exercised options to buy 544,000 Intel shares at $3.16 to $6.42 July 23, according to Thomson Financial-First Call. The same day, she sold 424,000 shares for $30 to $30.22 each for a net gain of $10,568,460.

Shaw has been an Intel director since 1993 and is chairman of the board's compensation committee. She also is the chairman and chief executive officer of Sunnyvale-based AeroGen, a drug-delivery company.
