To whatever extent the achievements can be compared, Jeff Gordon now joins an elite group: those drivers who have won four major events at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. With his dominating victory in the Brickyard 400, Gordon's performance at Indy will inevitably be compared to those of A.J. Foyt, Al Unser Sr. and Rick Mears, the four-time Indianapolis 500 winners.
