Indian activists assert that the World Health Organization (WHO) is selectively using developing countries as "guinea pigs" for controversial vaccine trials.

At a sit-in protest outside WHO's Southeast Asia regional office, activists from several health, women and human rights groups denounced the world health body for pushing human trials of AIDS, leprosy and contraceptive vaccines in India.

They say Third World governments, in collusion with WHO are violating the human rights of the subjects, most of them poor.
