MIAMI _ Since anthrax struck a Boca Raton tabloid, killing one employee and possibly infecting two others, fears have abounded that anthrax-by-mail could strike anyone, anytime.
While such an attack is possible, experts say it's unlikely. In short, they say, people should be alert, but not paranoid.
"For the average person, it's unbelievably unlikely you'd end up with mail contaminated with anthrax," said Matthew Bunn, a Harvard University expert on weapons of mass destruction. "It's far more likely you'd be hit by lightning.
