Thai Agency to Give 4.45 Billion Baht in Bonuses to Outstanding Civil Servants.

Oct. 4--The Comptroller-General's Department has set aside 4.45 billion baht this fiscal year for annual bonuses to civil servants who performed outstandingly the previous year, according to Wisudhi Srisuphan, the comptroller-general.

State agencies are selecting civil servants whose performance meets the department's criteria, after which the number of people to be paid and the total bonus will be decided. The focus will be on those at operational level rather than executives. However, the bonus per employee will not exceed one month's salary.

The bonus plan was approved by the Office of the Civil Service Commission.
