Oct. 3--Agripure Holding said its board on Sept 27 renewed the term of the audit committee for another two years, effective Oct 1.
--Aromatics (Thailand) said it had appointed Thai Thanakit Securities as the independent financial adviser to the audit committee on the allocation of new common shares to PTT Plc and Siam Cement as the move was classified as a connected transaction.
--Capital Nomura Securities reported an unaudited net loss of 27.04m bt for the year ended Aug 31, vs net profit of 89.9m bt in 2000.
--Eastern Star Real Estate said its board on Sept 27 renewed the term of the audit committee for another two years. It also said chief financial officer Donald MacNiel would assume the additional role of CEO of its subsidiary, Eastern Star Resort, as part of the latter's management restructuring to focus on residential real estate, an executive conference centre and golf courses. Benchmark Hospitality International, a management company brought in to operate the subsidiary in 1999, will turn over active daily management on Oct 31, and would remain as a consultant for an unspecified period.
--Five Stars Property said its board on Oct 1 appointed Yeo Kah Tiang and Tan Chee Kiong as directors, succeeding Ng Boon Khim and Yeoh Hai Yeoh, who had resigned. The board also appointed Mr Tan to the executive committee in place of Mr Yeoh, and Pisit Vilaivongse as an executive director and a member of executive committee in place of Mr Ng.
--General Environmental Conservation said its board on Oct 1 appointed Padetphai Meekun-iam and Virah Mavichak as directors, succeeding Kanya Sinsakul and Rachada Sinkgalavanija. It also reappointed Issra Shoatburakarn.
