Oct. 2--Ayudhya CMG Life Assurance said Ralph Norris had resigned as a director.
-- Bangkok Bank said that as part of First Steel Industry Plc's debt restructuring, the bank had accepted the transfer of 5m common shares, raising its stake in the company to 13 percent .
-- Bata Shoe of Thailand said its board on Sept 28 approved a capital increase to 225m bt from 125m bt by issuing 10m new ordinary shares (10-bt par). They will be allocated to existing shareholders at a ratio of 1.25 existing shares to 1 new share at 10 bt per share, subscription from Nov 22-28. Proceeds will be used as working capital, to reduce production costs and repay debts. The extraordinary shareholders' meeting will be held on Nov 6, register closed Oct 17.
-- Brooker Group said no warrant holders exercised rights from Sept 21-27. The number of warrants remains at 21.9m units.
-- CarnaudMetalbox (Thailand) said that, following the company's announcement of its intention to delist, Claremont Holdings (Thailand) had bought 4.25m shares (24.1 percent ) through a tender offer. Claremont Holdings' stake in the company has increased to 98.8 percent from 74.7 percent .
