Oct. 6--A local Web-based company that weathered the dot-com bust is branching into print.

About 20,000 copies of the first issue of Sauce Magazine, a monthly, hit the streets this week. The free, eight-page tabloid features live-music listings and restaurant and bar reviews. It is a spinoff of SauceCafe.com.

Catherine Neville and Allyson Mace started their Web site, SauceCafe.com, three years ago, offering reviews and a Yellow Pages-type online listing of local restaurants. The two-woman firm, doing business as Bent Mind Creative Group LLC, offers Web design as well as links to existing restaurant sites.
