Boston-Based Off-Price Retailer Opens Store in Elizabeth, N.J., Mall.

Oct. 19--ELIZABETH, N.J.--The upscale, off-price retailer Filene's Basement opened a 60,000-square-foot anchor store Thursday in Jersey Gardens mall.
A DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse occupies 17,000-square-feet within the Filene's Basement store.
Filene's Basement, founded in Boston in 1908, carries better designer lables and brand names at discount prices. The store stocks current fashions for men, women and children, as well as items for the home, fine jewelry, fragrances, gifts and luggage.
