Struggling Paseo del Monte could lose its charter after poor student test scores and other problems.
Just opening the doors feels like a noble act of defiance for the small staff of Paseo del Monte Middle School.
The 94-student charter school starting its second year is fighting more than just bleary-eyed students and school supply shortages as it opens this morning along with most Albuquerque Public Schools.
