Every few years, a show comes along and produces a star so sizzling, no one can stop talking about her. This year, it's The O.C.'s Mischa Barton. The 18-year-old New Yorker got her start doing theater at age 9, which led to stints on All My Children and Once and Again and small roles in such flicks as The Sixth Sense and Notting Hill. But no more blink-and-you'll-miss-her parts for this It Chick: She's managed to land one of the best roles in town, playing Marissa Cooper on Fox's megahit series about rich kids with heads of gold.
