"One morning, I went to brunch with my friend, and she brought along a friend who's a dominatrix. I was intrigued by her job, so I asked her to tell me what a typical night was like and what kind of guys came to see her. She told me that the night before, a 25-year-old Wall Streeter named Derek came in, wanting to be tied up and whipped. I was totally taken aback when I heard this, because my roommate had just started dating a 25-year-old investment banker by the same name.
