Nov. 2--State regulators have a reading of their own for Miss Cleo; their vision of her future involves paying a hefty fine.

The New York State Consumer Protection Board is accusing the company that employs the widely advertised psychic of violating telemarketing laws. Psychic Readers Network could be fined up to $224,000 if an administrative law judge rules the Florida-based company committed more than 100 violations of state telemarketing regulations.

State regulators allege the company has been calling New Yorkers, including Buffalo area residents, on the state's "do not call" registry. The Consumer Protection Board is also …
