Nov. 14--A cloud of confusion still may be floating over Dobson Communications, despite another quarter of revenue growth.

The Oklahoma City-based cellular service provider released quarterly earnings Tuesday showing a 28 percent gain in total revenues to $184.3 million. The company reported a third-quarter net loss of $45.4 million, or 48 cents per share. That compares to a loss of $44.1 million, or 47 cents per share, last year.

"It's actually the fourth quarter in a row where we've had real strong results," said Warren Henry, director of investor relations.
