Nov. 21--May might be Bluegrass Music Month in the rest of the country. But it's going to be April in Owensboro next year.

The Executive Inn Rivermont plans a major indoor bluegrass festival featuring several members of the International Bluegrass Music Association's Hall of Honor on the weekend of April 12-14.

Jan Kinsey, the hotel's operations manager, is hoping the International Bluegrass Music Museum can tie its grand opening celebration into the same weekend, creating a major tourism event in the city.
