Dec. 2--QUESTION: My investments are in equities and money markets. I am retired and need to produce more income from my investments.

I have been under the impression that one buys bonds when interest rates are high and the bond prices low.

With rates so low, I am fearful of putting money into that type of investment at this time. Am I wrong? And what type of investments would be appropriate at this time?
