Nov. 30--Directors of CD Warehouse Inc. this week ridded themselves of a shareholder lawsuit filed after they allegedly ignored buyout offers from a competitor.

A judge dismissed the lawsuit Monday, less than a month after CD Warehouse directors agreed to sell the company to competing music retailer Djangos.com.

"Now that CD Warehouse is at the bargaining table -- and has filed a letter of intent -- this lawsuit is more academic than it ever was," Tulsa money manager Fredric E. Russell said.
