Nov. 28--A peek into the crystal ball of holiday shopping shows Oklahoma retailers may fare better than most this year.

Same-store sales during the three days following Thanksgiving rose 2.8 percent over the same period last year, TeleCheck Services Inc. reported Monday. Nationwide sales increased only 2.3 percent.

Retail sales over the three days following Thanksgiving are a traditional indicator of the holiday shopping season to come.
