Porn star and documentary subject Ron Jeremy wants respect.

He holds a master's degree in education. He has appeared on the Jay Leno and Conan O'Brien shows and in at least three movies by John Frankenheimer. He has rapped and played piano on Kid Rock videos. His mother was a cryptographer during World War II and his father, now retired, is a respected physicist.

With such lineage and credits, why can't Ron Jeremy Hyatt _ a hardworking Jewish boy from Long Island _ get any respect in Hollywood? Instead, when a producer glimpses his scruffy mug on screen, he or she screams, "Get that guy out of there!" And once again, poor Ronnie winds up on the cutting room floor.
