Dec. 14--ARAPAHOE COUNTY, Colo.--Gwendolyn Mayo and her son, William, figure their aviation service pays about $500,000 a year in federal excise taxes to ensure the upkeep of Centennial Airport runways and taxiways.
But not one cent has come back over the past three years to repair a badly deteriorated cross-wind runway and taxiways pitted with big potholes.
