Krissanan Ngampatipong, the managing director of Nokia Mobile Phone, said the move followed demand for non-voice services.
The new services are provided in co-operation with local and international partners including GMM Grammy, Universal Music and Bakery Music, with 800 songs and 2,100 graphics.
The services could be downloaded onto handsets at prices ranging from 15 to 80 baht per product, at kiosks in nine department stores.
Next year, Nokia plans to introduce a new service, multimedia messaging, to send pictures and sound simultaneously.
