Dec. 3--Sun Microsystems chief executive Scott McNealy, in town recently to give a pep talk to employees, isn't one to hide his thoughts.
The candid McNealy is one of the most outspoken critics of Microsoft. But since the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, he has drawn attention for his support of the controversial national identification-card system.
He wants a system in place. He calls it an authentification system.
