Jan. 7--Hundreds of members of the National Borrowers' Federation intend to gather tomorrow at Government House to submit a petition to the prime minister calling for fairness in debt restructuring.
Niphon Chantakraiwat, the chairman of the federation, said the petition would call for the government to approve a case-by-case debt moratorium for borrowers.
The federation also wanted the government to expand the role of the Thai Asset Management Corp to ensure "equal treatment and benefit for all borrowers".
The organisation also sought representation on the TAMC board, Mr Niphon said.
