Jan. 6--Paul Arnett makes it clear up front that he is not a foreign language expert. He does not speak fluent Spanish, and never would pretend to know how to instruct others on the formal rules and nuances of the language.
But the Mesa, Ariz., resident is promoting a book he has compiled designed to teach English-speaking supervisors how to communicate with their Spanish-speaking workers. Arnett said "Broken Spanish for Supervisors" is about getting the job done at work, plain and simple.
