Jan. 4--Thai furniture exporters have realised their dream of seeing the establishment of the Thailand Furniture Mart as a one-stop service centre to promote the industry's exports.
The market unofficially opened to local consumers on Dec 24 and will officially open to foreign and Thai buyers later this month.
Situated on Rama IX Road near a station for the new subway train system, the centre, is an exhibition venue for 74 Thai furniture companies that make products from wood, wicker, metal, leather and other materials.
