Feb. 6--Tsutaya (Thailand) Co, the country's largest video rental chain, plans to expand its outlet total to 130 from 88 with strong financial support from its franchise owner in Japan.
Culture Convenience Club Co, the franchise owner of Tsutaya chain in Tokyo, is expected to acquire a stake in the Thai company, currently owned 100 percent by the Phlaphongphanich family.
