Feb. 5--At least 2,500 medium-sized and large factories in Samut Prakan are prone to accidents similar to the recent collapse of the roof of one of Delta Electronics' plants, according to the Industrial Works Department.
In a bid to avert the recurrence of a tragedy, the department will send 60 engineering inspectors, grouped into 15 teams, to inspect the factories in the province starting today.
