Feb. 2--Shares of Delta Electronics (Thailand) ended the day down 5.73 percent as investors reviewed the potential damage to the company following yesterday's roof collapse and fatalities at one of its factories.

The Thai-Taiwanese joint venture that makes electronics and computer components was suspended from trade by the Stock Exchange of Thailand pending clarification of the accident at its Bang Poo plant.

Trading resumed in the afternoon session, leading shares to drop as low as 36 baht from 39.25 the day before. Shares eventually closed at 37 baht, down 2.25 baht, in heavy turnover worth 797.7 million baht.
