Feb. 26--Robert Young and Rudy Valentine put their plans for a restaurant/jazz club on the back burner after Sept. 11, but now they're cooking up a May opening.

"Talking with other restaurant owners, we're told people aren't spending as much, but they still go out to eat," says Young, 44, a commercial caterer.

As a result, the partners' east Arlington eatery, to be called Rudy V's Creole Soul Food Restaurant, will hold menu prices just a little lower than originally planned, just as Young has already trimmed catering prices for his corporate customers.
