Mar. 6--Companies that make high-quality products while maintaining good governance will be rewarded with the right to bear the Q-Mark logo on their goods.
The Board of Trade plans to start approving the use of the logo after the agency reaches an agreement with the government on incentives to be granted to companies, including tax refunds and other trade assistance.
Ajva Taulananda, the board's chairman, said companies granted the Q-Mark would gain recognition from local customers and foreign importers.
