Mar. 5--Competition in the premium cement market has intensified with Siam City Cement Plc (SCCC), the country's second-largest producer, challenging top-ranked Siam Cement by restructuring the pricing of its Eagle brand to compete head-on with the latter's Elephant and Tiger products.

All the cement products of SCCC have been relaunched and are now distinguished by colours -- red, green, blue, black -- under the single name, Insee (Eagle).
