Tambon Hua Tanon in Nakhon Sawan province, four hours' drive from Bangkok, is among the areas to benefit from the Thailand Canada Telecentre Project, which was founded by Internet service provider Loxinfo Co and Hickling Co, a Canadian IT provider.
The centre, located at the office of the local tambon administration organisation, is equipped with two personal computers, a fax machine and a telephone. Internet services will be introduced after the staff are trained how to operate them.
