Mar. 4--Nature's Home and the Beauty of Life is the business slogan of Son Chomdee of Prachin Buri province.
The capitalist slogan created in the commercial jungle is a far cry from Mr Son's days in the jungle of war. Mr Chomdee grew up in Bangkok and, with other students and intellectuals, took to the bush to fight the Thai military governments during late 1970s and early 1980s.
His slogan sounds like a cliche but the message is clear. Consumers are hungry for nature's touch in any kind of product and businessmen are rushing to meet the demand.
"We have to think of ourselves first. What we need is a good environment, good air and good food, so we provide those specific services and products," said the 49-year-old lawyer-cum-entrepreneur.
