Mar. 2--Land & Houses Plc posted a consolidated net profit of 1.55 billion baht last year, a 617 percent jump from 2000, thanks to a steady recovery of the middle-class detached housing market.
President Anant Asavabhokin said house sales alone rose 58 percent to 10.41 billion baht, from 6.55 billion baht the year before.
Other revenue totalled 111 million baht last year, down from 228 million baht in 2000, while interest expenses declined to 411 million baht from 590 million.
