Mar. 1--The Telephone Organisation of Thailand is seeking cabinet approval for a permanent flat rate of two baht per minute nationwide for its Y-tel 1234 long-distance service.
As well, the agency said it was extending the waiver of fixed-line installation fees.
The two-baht fixed rate for Y-tel has been in effect since Dec 5. It was to have expired yesterday, but was extended until April 30, said TOT president Sutham Malila.
